From Siliguri, you have two main route options to reach Lingshey village, the closest point to Tagathang:
Shorter Route (via Sikkim): Take the route through Melli, Rangpo, and Rhenock in Sikkim, following the scenic Teesta River. This route is approximately 115 km and takes around 5 to 6 hours to reach Lingshey. Once there, Tagathang is just a short drive further.
Longer Route (via West Bengal): If you prefer a route entirely within West Bengal, head to Kalimpong, passing through Lava, Pedong, and Kagey before reaching Lingshey. This route covers about 160 km, taking around 8 to 9 hours.
