Plan The Trip to Dokchen

Step 1: Reaching Siliguri
By Train: Arrive at New Jalpaiguri (NJP), the nearest railway station, and then travel to Siliguri, which is about 8 km away.
By Air: Fly into Bagdogra Airport and head to Siliguri, which is approximately 12 km from the airport.
 
Step 2: From Siliguri to Rongli Bazar
Once you arrive in Siliguri, you have two options:
Reserved Cab: For more comfort and convenience, you can reserve a private cab from Siliguri to Rongli Bazar.
Local Transportation: Alternatively, direct local transportation is available from Siliguri to Rongli Bazar. The journey is about 100 km and takes around 3 to 4 hours, offering scenic views as you ascend into the mountains.
 
Step 3: Rongli Bazar to Dokchen
From Rongli Bazar, Dokchen is only 15 km away. You can either continue with your reserved cab or take local transportation from Rongli for this short, scenic stretch to Dokchen.
